  !!! Print to Video Showing Out of Memory !!

  Hi,

  I am going nuts on my delivery schedule for a 2 hour documentary on DV.

  I have 17 audio tracks…which I need…(the wav mixdown is coming outsync !! for some strange problem !!)

  and 3 Video tracks

  When I give Print to Video its showing Writing to Video will take 1 hour…and at 60% its showing out of memory !!

  please help !!

  Try doing a self contained export then bringing that export back into FCP for mastering.

  Hi,

  But won’t that reference QT file give a lower quality output ?

  Nope. You want:

  File>Export>Quicktime Movie

  Setting: Current Setting

  And make sure make movie self-contained is ticked.

  This will give you a carbon copy of your timeline that you can just dump on a new sequence for your master.
