  Batch Video Codec Nightmare

  Hey guys,

  Im working on a project that was recorded with Fraps as avi, i think fraps has its own codec. Ive tried several batch converters including compressor, and a few windows apps as well. I cant seem to find one that will convert all my videos, about 600 gigs worth, into the format i need.

  Which is: quick time .mov dvc-pro ntsc 720×486.

  It either plays back in really low res/pixilated, has weird artificats or colors, or just causes issue for final cut pro.

  If anyone could lend a hand with some advice it would be really apreciated, Thank you!

  Never heard of Fraps.
  What is it? If you find out, contact the manufacturer.
