Final Cut to FileMaker Pro
Hi folks,
I’m editing my first feature, and looking to get things organized. Most of the footage has been digitized and subclipped (for selects). However, the project has grown so large that using the Find command within Final Cut 6 will take up to five minutes. I’d like to create a FileMaker Pro database that will contain all of the information that the Final Cut Browser contains – clip name, reel, notes, etc. Is it possible to use an XML to transfer that information to FileMaker Pro (I’m using v8.5), so that searching through the material is fast and feasible? Thanks very much for your help, from one who needs it.
