  • maintaining audio envelopes with changing video frame rate

I probably got myself into a bind.

I am editing a feature that was shot at 23.98. Due to the limitations of my DV converter box I had to edit into a 29.97 sequence. I’ve made numerous audio edits in this sequence.

NOW I need to copy this edit into a 23.98 for finishing. I knew that I would have to massage the video edits (a few gaps here and there) but the audio envelopes have been thrown off as well, all of the points and fades I’ve created have been moved within the audio clips in the sequence.

Can anyone think of a way to maintain the audio envelopes in this new sequence?

    Thanks,
    JB
