  trouble reading DVCPRO HD – 720p30

  I’m trying to open and use HD footage for a project.
  We get audio, but no video – only a black or white screen.

  codec – DVCPRO HD – 720p30

  My hardware configuration should not be a problem –
  Mac OS 10.4.11
  2×2.66 GHz Dual-Core Intel Xenon
  9 GB memory

  We’ve tried opening them in Quicktime Pro 7.5
  We’ve tried opening them from FCP 5.1.4, which has a video preset for DVCPRO HD – 720p30, but shows a white screen with no video.

  Our videographer, with an older system, has no problem opening them on his mac.
  Is there a codec I’m missing? Any ideas what the problem might be?
