  Editing with MXF files

  Hi, Im an idiot. I need to know how to edit .MXF files in FCP.

  First, can I get a free plugin for MXF online or do I have to buy one? Either way, where do I get it?

  Second, I know how to get the MXF video and audio in FCP separate from each other, but is there a way to get them imported already linked so I dont have to line them up?

  Thanks geniuses, I don’t know what I would do without you geeks! (No offense intended, Im a total geek myself)

  Oh and I have Studio 1 not 2.

  https://www.calibratedsoftware.com/MXFImportQ_OSX.html ( USD 60 )
  https://mxf4mac.com/products/mfx4qt/#mxf4qt_import ( EURO 399 )
  https://dvfilm.com/raylight/mac/index.htm ( USD 195 )

  if its XDCAM sourced then you’ll be looking at XDCAM Transfer from Sony

  MXF files from where? P2? Avid capture?

  MXF4QT might be the answer here. But it really depends on where these files came from.
