  print to tape with HDV URGENT

  Hi all, I’m trying to get an HDV sequence to print to a tape and FCP5 won’t recognize the deck for this. It sees it in my OS, as well as for log and capture. It also has no problem outputting when I set it for DV. This is very frustrating. Is there a setting that I’m missing? I use an easy setup for HDV1080i60 and I’m double checking that the video preview is set for HDV and it’s just not seeing the deck. Thanks for your help.

  Braden- Knowing your deck model would be helpful. I presume you digitized your HDV directly from this same deck. I would focus on your decks settings… make sure ilink downconvert is set to ‘OFF’. Sometimes I’ve had to quit out of FCP and restart with the deck on.
