  Sorry for the off topic, but does anyone know the current installed base (total number of paid users) for FCP or perhaps where I could find this information? Thanks in advance for any help on this one. Regards,

  At the FCS2 (FCP6) launch Apple announced onstage that there were 1 million FCP installs worldwide.

  I would google to see if that video is still available.
