    Hi there,

Basically, if you look here https://www.motionscript.com/mastering-expressions/random-3.html You can see on the left the movies with the dots moving around. What I want to try and do is have them moving around but with multiples of them following behind each progressively more transparent, so there is a kind of tail following behind i spose you could say….does that make sense?

I know i could do a precomp and keyframe them all and parent them to the main layer, just wondered if there was an easier way 🙂 maybe with expressions or something similar?

    thanks alot!

    dan

Drop the comp into a new comp, then apply effect>time>echo to it there?
