  Symptoms of a CRT dying

  Never had one long enough to see it go, but the old PVM is looking dark, even when calibrated freshly, it doesn’t have the brightness it used to. The scopes say the picture is good but it just looks dark. Plus, when it’s in underscan, there are three thin RGB lines on top. Is this the end? It’s about 6-8 years old I think, bought it used.

  Sorry but I think you are right.
  I think 6-8 years is good mark for a CRT Pro monitor.
