• Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy

  No machine control after trashing preferences

  I trashed preferences and now I have no communication in log and capture. I’m editing 8 bit uncompressed using Kona LHe and a PVW 2800 Beta cam deck. It worked fine until now. Nothing has changed in the cables or connections.

  Any thoughts?

  It works now Walter. Something must have been hung up. I restarted my computer and it worked. Thanks for your quick reply.

  Perhaps you can help me with another problem. I’ve cut a 4 minute show and when trying to output from FCP to windows media Via Flip for Mac it gets to about 62% then FCP hangs up. I get the spinning wheel of pizza. Any thoughts?

  Nope, we don’t use Flip4Mac.
