So I searched through the fcp forum a bit but there were so many results to my search I couldn’t sort through them.. Apologies. My issue is that I have two JVC HD110’s, both are set to record non drop-frame in DV-24p. But when I capture to final cut, one is consistently recognized as drop and the other non-drop. I’m kind of baffled as to what is happening here.. Maybe its a camera issue but I thought I’d check here anyway.. I’ve also heard suggestions of selecting the clips after logging but before capture and changing the timecode to all one or the other. Any ideas?

Point the camera at a sign on which you have written the camera settings at the top and the capture settings at the bottom.
Shoot 1 minute for each of your different possible combinations of camera settings and capture settings, is that four?
Capture at the settings specified on the signs.
Let us know if there are any differences in anything.

This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”
