Converting NTSC back to original DVCPRO HD 720p/60 fps
Hello Everyone,
I am having a breakdown over a major project that I am in the middle of. I unconsciously edited in FCP 5.1.4 a collection of files shot in DVCPRO HD 720p. I did not change the timeline settings before working and resulting all of my work is done in SD NTSC. I have alot of footage already edited and complete. Is there a way for me to get all the footage and work I have done back to its native format? Please say there is!!!!!!!!

Did you capture NTSC? Or did you capture native 720 and simply edit on an NTSC sequence?
If it’s the latter all you do is copy and paste the clips in your sequence to a new 720 sequence and remove the Motion and distort attributes.

Thanks Sean for responding. When I try and copy the clips from the NTSC sequence and try to paste them in a new 720 sequence, the playback in the canvas is shrunk and does not fill the entire window and I get a green render bar. I then try to render and that does not do anything.

I dug deeper into the manual and found out after I have set all my clips into the time line, I cannot change the sequence frame rate. AGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!! Does anyone know how to get around this? Please help!!!!
