  Adding Effects to P2 clips in FCP

  I’m having trouble adding effects to my P2 clips that are in my HDV timeline in FCP. When I double click on the P2 clips, they open in their own sequence. I’m sure it’s just ignorance b/c this is the first time using P2 in the timeline but any help would be fantastic!
