  Capturing Sony HDV in FCP turns out mono!

  I’m trying to capture HDV from a Sony HDR-FX1 but it turns out mono, won’t let me monitor audio during capture and the imported file doesn’t appear in the browser! I have to manually import the file from the Capture folder.
  Is this a bug with FCP 5.0.4?
  Any advice will be realy appreciated as I’m going bananas!
