    Hello There!

    I was trying to create a bounce movement in AE and came across a feature I didn’t know AE had. It is Motion Math, which enables you to use preset movements, like the bouncing one. I found the Motion Math in early After Effects version (5.0) in the Animation/keyframe assistant menu, but I can

    As I understand it, Motion Math was a feature that allowed you to apply mathematical functions to properties. A rudimentary version of Expressions. I believe it was removed in favor of Expressions.

    Scripts are small JavaScript… erm… scripts, that allow you to automate processes in After Effects. An example might be reading in text from a file and creating text layers in an AE Composition. Pretty much any process in After Effects can be automated with a Script, it’s just a question of whether it’s useful to automate it =)

    You run Scripts from inside of After Effects.

    Thanks a lot for answering. Anyway I don`t know yet how to run the script files. you said you just run it from inside of After Effects, but what does it mean? could you give an example? thanks again!!

    Go to File > Scripts > Run Script File…
