I’ve inherited a large project with liberal use of BCC effects, which I don’t have. These have been causing FCP crashes during render and export to QT. Is there a way to globally remove effects? I want to leave any FCP native effects – just remove BCC in one easy step.

The easiest way I find to do this is to open the viewer at the effect/s you want to delete. Then toggle on ‘open’ in the canvas- this will keep that window view open for every clip

Then advance to each clip using the keyboard, select the effect in the viewer and then delete. You can get quite quick at it 🙂

I don’t have Boris, but can u just select all the shots, right click ‘remove attributes’, like with other filters?

Never let the odds keep u from doing what u know in ur heart u were meant to do.

Yes, but that will remove ALL the filters

This is a very new application that isn’t really even launched yet, but you can check them out:

I couldn’t understand the testimonial on the Plug-in descritpion page, though 😉
