  trapped on a deserted island with only 5 plug ins

  I’m reevaluating my essential plug-ins list (or at least semi-essential) plug-ins for After Effects.

  I was thinking that with the new version of AE coming out, that there are probably features that are built in that you would have previously needed 3rd Party plug-ins to do. Has Adobe bought up plug-ins to include in the new version (like Cycore) ?

  What are the best plug ins? Will there be any plug-ins that won’t be compatible with the new AE? Are time warping video plug ins like Twixtor still necessary? Is the AE green screen keying abilities good enough for keying DV or do you need something like Primatte? Boris, Magic Bullet, Zaxwerks, Knoll light factory, Tinder, Trapcode, DigiEffects???

  Basically, if you were trapped on a deserted island with AE CS3 and could only bring 5 plug-ins, which would they be?

  All trapcode plugins are excellent and not redundant with what AE can offer.

  Re:Vision still has the best morphing and retiming software out there, on par with what very expensive systems can do, or better.

  Knoll Light factory is always good also.
