Burnt in Clip Names
Posted by Chris Gunningham on May 13, 2008 at 11:50 amHi,
Does anyone know of a plugin that will generate burnt in text of the name of the clip, like the TC generator displaying but only the clip name.
Thanks

May 13, 2008 at 4:42 pmYou do this with any of the text generators, type it in, render. There is no way, AFAIK, to pull comment or clip name data from the Browser automatically.

This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”

Yes I was hoping for an more automated solution, although I did find a free plug in which displays source tc and reel, but not clip name so I think it should be possible.

May 13, 2008 at 7:09 pmI’m not sure, but you might want to look in to this:

There was also a recent article in the COW on using Automator to… automate things. I don’t know if that would apply but worth a look.

May 13, 2008 at 11:26 pmThere was a tool called TCR plus from spherico, which had ability to place clip name.

There’s a link to a demo, and the author’s contact info.
