Audio Monitoring Question with Decklink
Hey all,
So, I’ve run into this problem a few times while freelancing. The computer has a decklink card which an NTSC monitor is hooked up to, but the speakers are consumer speakers that are not hooked up to the decklink card, but just plugged into the line out jack on the back of the computer. As you probably know, this creates some lag between the audio and video. What are my solutions? Can I get a mini to xlr adapter and hook the speakers up to the Decklink card? Can I plug the speakers into the monitor (though I need a mini to rca adapter for that too)? Or can I just create a special easy setup and adjust the offset? And if I can do this last option, what does one adjust it to?
Thanks,
Eli
