  horizontal banding problem

  I shot some HDV footage (using Sony A1U camera) partly lit by fluorescent light. I have horizontal banding moving in the dark regions of the footage. Is there any way to get rid of this banding? a filter? thanks, Ellen

  Might try a garbage matte over the area with banding, and then blur it. i.e. double up the clip on top of itself, blur the upper or lower and use the garbage matte to keep what doesn’t have the banding unaffected.
