    do you guys back up your entire system disk with all the FCS software loaded and configured as you want it, or just the system software? after my crash last week, it seems like a full backup of all of it would make sense.

    I tend to clone my system drive…meaning EVERYTHING that is on it up to that point. So if a crash happens, all I have to do is restore.

    Same here. If the system drive crashes, I can just re-format and clone it back. I use Carbon Copy Cloner for this, BTW.

    we actually mirror the drive in a spare in the box so all we need to do is re boot in the mirrored drive. no down time…
