we shoot feature on sony F23@25fps, and guys in the post facility transfer rushes on the DVCAM for offline edit.
Time code is also burned on the image.

When i try to capture offline on the FCP via Firewire i got weird time code offset of 4 frames, on each tape, always the same. Time code burned on the image correspond to the time code on the tape, but when i capture it, time code on the file is 4 frames late. I try to capture from the other device, but i got same result,
I check all settings but everything is as usual.

    any suggestions

    thanks

Capture via rs422 or set your frame offset for 4 frames in a duplicated dv device control prefs.

i cannot capture via 422, and i try to change frame offset but without any result.
    anything else to try?

    Firewire is notoriously inaccurate.

Where did you set the frame offset?
