I am running a new Macpro 8 core with FCP 2. Every time I add an effect to an edit point the footage within the effect on the “b”clip is replaced with footage from the same master clip about 2 seconds prior to the point that is in the timeline.

As soon as the play head gets passed the effect it cuts to the current frame in the timeline. If I remove the effect it plays all of the frames correctly.

Is this something set wrong or a weird bug?
