  Best compresser setting for outputting 16 x 9

  I have an 11 minute video sequence that is 720 X 576 and I am outputting it from FCP to DVD Studio Pro. The final project is to be 16X9.

  The Compresser setting I am using is dvd best encode 90 minutes and then putting the resulting file into dvd studio pro and selecting 16×9 letterbox as the format.

  I’m a bit new to this, is this the right way to go about it without losing quality?

  No, you want 16×9 anamorphic, not letterbox.

  Is that a setting in DVD Studio Pro that i select, or is it in compressor?

  Hi Sean, Thanks for your help, I can’t find an anamorphic setting in DVD SP, just 4:3 – 16:9 Letterbox – 16:9 pan and scan and finally 16:9 pan and scan and letterbox, where is the 16:9 anamorphic setting?
