  assigning more than two audio destination tracks

  Hey there

  is there a way to assign more than two audio destination tracks in the timeline if the source clips only have two audio tracks ie DV clips with standard two channel audio?

  I want to be able to make an edit and have the usual two audio tracks come in with my clips (A1, A2) but also have two audio slugs to accompany the edit on tracks A3 A4.

  the slugs will serve as a visual reference track for our audio guys to mark where edits have been made.

  No. The viewer controls what’s in the patch panel. You only have two audio tracks, so that’s all that will be available in the patch panel. You have to edit in the slugs separately.
