  what is the best dpx editing workflow?

  Hello every one,
  We are going to transfer from telecine the entire video material about 1 hour to dpx sequence. What is the fastest workflow to make an offline editing and then export the edl for higher res.
  My machine will certainly not playback in realtime the 1920 X 1080 dpx files (Powermac G5 with 2gbram).
  Is the Glue tools exactly what I`m looking for or is there any freeware?
  Final cut studio pro (v5)+ AJA Io.
