  saving project file for a previous version of FCP

  Hello I have 6.0.2 on my computer but I want to be able to work on my project at school where they have just 6.0 is there a way I can save the project file as a previous version so I can open it at school??

  If you export the project from newer the system as an XML file you should be able to bring it into the older system.
  The key operative word is “should”.
  It should work.
