    Hello,

I have a project using HDDVC Pro 720p footage. Looks great in FCP and also CS3 when I take clips into it. However, when I export the Comp from CS3 as a QT using the ‘Animation’ setting and bring it back into FCP (and render it in the timeline) the footage has become darker and the video has a slight stutter. Please help.

My first post so please excuse me if I left out any important info.

    thanks!

Animation is a very heavy codec (high data rate), which is causing the stutter. The gamma issue (getting darker) is a long standing issue between FCP and other programs. The best codec to avoid it is Sheer from BitJazz.
