  Capturing DVCPRO 50 tapes in FCP6

  So, I have learned this before but now my boss is out of town so its not like I can ask him how to set up this project I am going to capture. I am using a Panasonic HD 1400 and capturing tapes that are Panasonic 66 DVCPRO tapes. When I go to Easy Setup how do I set that project up? everything I have tried has said preview disabled meaning it is incorrect. Any help would be wonderful. Cheers.

  Are you sure it’s DV50 and not DV100 tapes? If you have a 1400 VTR, that means to me you are probably shooting dv100 (DvcPro HD) and not dv50 (SD).

  Possible? DO you know that camera it was shot on? HDX900 perhaps?

  That’s actually along the lines of the same question I asked in the above thread. For some reason we have two threads going on with the exact same subject from the same person.
