  URGENT! in middle of project and

  I had to reinstall my FCP from a FCS 1 disk.

  When I did I am now finding I have no video transitions. Non exist in the Viewer motion tab, nor in the drop down Effect menu option.

  All I need is a simple fade out and dissolve, but nothing.

  Any idea where I can find these?

  When I did the install I only installed FCP, but I did include everything else that was not an other app in the suite.

  Hey Randy, why don’t you just turn on the overlays, and use a pen tool on the timeline to do a simple fade. Read the “Keyframing on the Timeline” part.
