  ot software update for FCP and Sony

  Hi folks , Off topic here I know , but you folks always warn to clone before updates and I hear so many stories. Anyway my question. I am running OS X 10.4 . To use Sony’s XdCam software it says I need 10.4.10 I do see an update to 10.4.11 on Apple’s site. any pitfalls going to this version ? Thanks in advance for all the past advice

  You’re missing the point. Since people have different hardware and software, what works for most may be a pitfall for you.

  Cloning before an update enables you to do an update without fear and without having to poll others to determine what type of gamble they think you’re liable to encounter.
