  File: Save: “operation not allowed” !!!! eeek

  So i’ve been working all morning on my first serious attempt at editing some footage for my company after getting FC6 installed and running. And I go to hit save and get “operation not allowed” when i try to name the file or select a destination – same goes with save as and save all

  i tried aiming it towards my terobyte external and the internal hard drive and both give me the same error…

  any ideas?

  check the permissions of where you are saving to.

  the folder might be pwned (owned heh heh) by
  another user.

  This just happened to me on my new Mac Pro Quad Core. If I trash the prefs, won’t i lose what’s on my timeline right now? I’ve tried saving the contents of the timeline into a new project, but that won’t save either…
