  Workflow Hellp?

  I have a huge project to finish with no time. (What is new)

  I have have 4 new FCP/Mac set ups and 3 AE/PC set ups.

  I also have tons of footage coming in at a dozen or so different formats and image sizes.

  The rendering and confusion of so many formats is causing me restless, sleepless nights.

  I want stop excessive rendering but I don’t know what single set of formats would be the most efficient for an AfterEffects/PC to FCP/Mac workflow. Consdering most of the images will be made in AE but the compositing and rendering will be done in FCP.

  You’re a little vague about formats, but if you are compositing AE in FCP, you should use the animation codec to export from AE – It will allow you to use the alpha in FCP, and give you the maximum quality throughout.
