how can i render mov file using decklink codec but including alpha channel??
is this possible using decklink codec??all the best

February 20, 2008 at 9:19 pmI don’t think any of the decklink codecs support alpha channels. You could render the alpha out separately if you wanted to, then combine then in whatever program you’d use.

Please voice your concern at the Apple Feedback page and hopefully they will enable a real time alpha channel codec.

February 22, 2008 at 4:16 pmYes, you can use the ole matte and fill option as you can with any codec and then composite them. No it is not real time.
