Does anyone know if there is an upgrade path to FCS2 from Final Cut Express?

I nweed a quick and cheap solution to do some DV editing on my Powerbook G4 to then export and EDL to Premiere Pro 2.

I don’t have the cash for FCS at the mo and wasn’t really planning on buying it for myself, but at least if I can upgrade from FCE then it’s not money wasted.

Oh, can FCE spit out a CMX3600 by the way?

    Thanks.

    Not to worry. Thanks.

Can you output EDLs from FCE though?

No, you can’t, but you can open an FCE project in a corresponding version of FCP.

    All the best,
