Panasonic BT-LH2600W or BT-LH1700W
A local company here has stated that there is a little softness to the image on the 17 inch versus the 26 inch Panasonic. Can anyone confirm this?
Also, the 17 inch has the built in waveform display which could also be useful….does anyone use the waveform on the 17 inch and find it invaluable?
Also the 26 inch has the pixel for pixel setting, but I don’t think the 17 inch does. Would you miss that feature if it was all you had?
We have an HD suite and had the 24 inch backlit Dell….didn’t really pass our scrutiny, so now it is paired with a 19 inch 4×3 Dell as a dual monitor on the HD Mac. Looks great there! Our space in the suite is a little small for the 26 inch to sit on the desk…clients sit no more that 4 feet from the monitor, maybe closer. A 17 inch feels like the right size for now. We also have a 14 inch Sony PVM for standard def viewing with component. I think the 17 inch Panasonic would be a nice compliment except for the softening (if true) and the pixel for pixel.
Comments welcome.
