  PSD Documents and FCP

  Hello,

  Art Directors at the company I work for are creating layered photoshop documents for me to import into FCP and animate.

  THe PSD’s import as sequences. When I open them as a sequence the open perfectly.

  However, when I edit them into a different sequence containing other media, the PSD sequences apply what appears to be a bunch of random formatting. So I have to try and eyematch the formatting of the original PSD.

  Can someone help me out?

  If you’re in FCP 6, the default is for FCP to re-scale and position still images when you bring them into a sequence. You can turn that off in your User Prefs.
