  Special Effects question

  Hey all,
  I’m trying to create an effect that simulates a stab or bullet wound. I’ve seen it before but have no idea where to begin. I have FCP 4 and Motion at my disposal. Anyone know of any tutorials or know how to create it. Thanks.

  Sorry, I am an editor, not a compositor. I used these when I couldn’t go out of house. They are nice and simple and are pretty visual.

  That’s usually a makeup job. There are makeup artists who specialize in the gory stuff.
