  30fps media in a 24fps timeline FCP6! ARGH!

  Editing a small bit in 720/23.98

  Need to put a couple clips from an old VHS. Loaded the VHS in as DV50 29.97. I can place in my 23.98 timeline, FCP6 does it’s “real time format mixing” just fine …..but as soon as I export, or force render, it CHANGES the in frame of the 30fps material.

  What am I supposed to do?

  Sounds like a bug. Try using nested sequences for the VHS clips.
