  FCP and Quicktime

  Has anyone heard of weird things happening when FCP 5.0.1 and Quicktime 7.0.2 are installed? When I insert video onto my timeline I get 8 tracks of audio even though I have it set to only put 2 tracks on. I didn’t know if it was a FCP/Quicktime problem as I have heard Quicktime 7.0.2 is extremely buggy.

  Any help would be great.
