  I am editing a music video that was shot with the panasonic HVX-200. It was shot on 720P at 23.98, but the smart slate with music playback was running at 29.97. The P2 cards were ingested onto the harddrives on location, so the media I have can’t be changed. Is this going to present a problem, and if so is there a solution?

  I’ve never used anything other than 29.98 drop frame timecode so I’m just wondering…one second is on second, regardless of the frame rate. Allowing for some possible drift over, say, 20-60 minutes, won’t everything line up fine?

  Stope, for the benefit of those seekers who look up this issue in the future, can you tell us how this worked out for you?
