Scroll to playhead?
Got a bit excited thinking this would allow the timeline to scroll as I played…. doesn’t seem to work that way, all I can do is map it to a key which allows me to centre the playhead by pressing it… am I wrong? hope so….

if the playhead is offscreen i just double tap the space bar, very cheap but works..

Yes, I would toggle the left/right arrows back and forth.
An actual scrolling timeline would be more helpful.

Have ay of you guys used Soundtrack Pro? Or Garageband? Why can’t we get that timeline paradigm in FCP?
