• Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy

  When a G5 Dual Freezes up and you see that screen.

  anyone seen this on their systems?

  It freezes the system (you have to turn it off or hard reset)
  and there is a graphic of a power switch logo and text in various languages saying that something disturbed the machine and you may have to contact apple. A lot of times the fans kick in high speed, super loud, jet ready to take off mode. I’m surprised it didn’t just fly away.

  I have one G5 Dual that has done this every couple of weeks, randomly since it was new.

  It’s called a Kernel Panic. Check the crash logs and see what is causing it.
