    Is it possible to colour code an entire track in the timeline? This is something you can do in Avid, and is useful when working with multiple tracks to, at a glance know if you are working on e.g. v/o, dialogue, effects etc.

    I know that you can colour code a clip, but I am wondering whether it is possible to colour code an entire track.

    Yes…please. We need more requests for this. That is one of my favorite and most useful features on an Avid that I miss in FCP. And it cannot be all that difficult to manage.

    Hold on just a minute, my dog is the assistant editor here and he’s color blind. This is gonna screw him up completely. It just about broke his heart when I told him that Color training was out of the question.
