  Exporting from tape to Final Cut

  I shot on tape (1st time) with new HVX200, usually use Firestore with no problems. Settings and mode were as suggested MCR/VCR, tape. When I went to import to final cut it did not see the tape at all. I was on the phone with tech support for an hour and they couldn’t figure it out. Replaced the firewire cable in case I had a problem, but no luck. Even tried a 2nd mac, but no luck. Now I have exported from tape with my previous camera (PD150) hundreds of times with no issues. Did I overlook something or do I have a bug and need to update software. It was a nightmare and of course I had a marathon edit to do with a new client. I ended up taking my tapes to another final cut editor and importing them into his system and on to my hard drive. Thankfully I had that option. Please let me know what my issue might be. AARgh!!!!
