  Edit to Tape Problems

  I’m running FCP 6 on a macbook pro, 2 gig intel core duo.
  I’m using media on drives connected to a firewire adapter in the P2 card slot. My DVCPRO 50 deck is connected firewire directly.

  When I capture and play out, I see all frames properly on my external monitor. When I try to use edit to tape, I do not get video or audio out.

  Deck settings are correct.

  Anyone recognize this problem? Thoughts?

  If you disconnect everything (firewire drives/P2 adapter) does it work?

  Have you ever had it working?

  You could double check your settings by using the easy setup. You could also try to delete your preferences.
