Final Cut Pro 6.0 Strange Behavior
Hi there,
AUDIO
On several occasions while keeping the id/title of the original audio track from which it was edited FCP has replaced this audio in the sequence timeline with a completely different audio which is also in the project but at another point in the timeline. No one re-edited this audio like this. FCP randomly it seems chose this. This audio was not touched!!!We are also having complete words dropped out, phrases repeat themselves at points in the playback of a clip from the timeline and the timbre sounds off, as if the audio was slowed down somehow when we are printing to tape.
FONTS
Even though a font is selected in the text controls it is not displayed as that font in the timeline but as another font. This only changes when you select another font and then go and select the original font again. Other times even this work around does not help.We have installed these fonts using fontbook on the administrator profile of the computer. Is there something else that we need to do for FCP to recognize the correct font?
GENERAL WEIRDNESS
When selecting clips to move we have noticed that clips that were not selected have also moved. These clips did not have the brown color selected clips have when you click on them using the selection tool. The selection tool is the one we were using when we selected the clips to move. Why would clips that were not selected also move???We are working on an hour and 45 minutes documentary film using files that were captured in FCP 5.0.4.
