I have a Mac Pro with two 2.66 Ghz dual core intel processors and 4 Gb Ram. It has FCP 6.0 installed on it. It used to work fine. Then I installed Boris Red 4.0 and then applied Boris Red 4.1.5 updater to make it support FCP 6.0. After doing this, FCP will no longer recognize the deck (Sony HVR-M25U). The operating system recognizes it, because it shows up under system profiler. I have checked the A/V settings in FCP and it says the deck is missing. Does anyone know what I should do?

    Thanks in advance,

    Bobby

Quit FCP, Trash your prefs and try again.

I already did that. Good idea though. Is there anything else you can think of?

Problem has been resolved. The deck settings were changed to HDV instead of DVCAM. Thanks for the response Jeremy… We have figured it out and all is well.
