I’ve looked for the solution to this for some time and haven’t found anything, so I hope someone could help.

With FCP 4.5 When you were capturing something you could switch to another program like after effects and all of Final cuts windows would be covered by the After Effects or whatever program you open. Now with FCP 5.0 The capture window is on top of everything. Is there a work around? This is a major slowdown to my workflow.

    Thanks

Click in the dock the thumbnail of the application you want to be on top of FC. Other solution is to click the FC thumbnail in the Dock and choose “hide”.
    Chers,
